I've always believed a cake should make people smile, gasp and point before they've even picked up a fork. What started as a bit of fun in my kitchen over ten years ago has grown into a full-time passion: creating cakes that feel as personal as the celebrations they're made for.

No dry sponge or sad icing here — just proper homemade bakes, made by hand, for the people of Catterick Garrison and beyond.

From kitchen experiments to cake creations

It began with baking for family and friends — birthdays, baby showers, and plenty of "just because we fancy cake" moments. Before long, one order became three… then thirty. And somewhere between late-night buttercream batches and glitter-filled cupboards, Goggsy's Goodies was born.

These days I split my time between bespoke celebration cakes — the big, personal centrepieces designed around you — and the Colburn Cake Shed, our little pink shed that swings open the 1st and 3rd Friday of the month with fresh brownies, blondies and whatever else I've been tinkering with that week.
